Cameo The Label / Lust List

Most of you know I'm a sucker for Australian brands, all the sunshine, swimwear, modern aesthetics and lovely friends out there that I miss!

Cameo The Label have got me hooked. I must admit as soon as I saw the name Cameo I immediately wanted to start dancing, to Candy by Cameo released 1986.

Cameo produce a staggering 11 collections a year and are stocked in over 2000 stores, which is unbelievable taking in to consideration they only launched in 2010. Their silhouettes and prints are to die for, they are exactly what I want to be wearing right now! Can't wait for their flagship London store.....fingers crossed it's not to long a wait.

I love the fact that the brand projects a very strong image but still actively encourage individual style. A brand for a true fashion lover, with their own sense of taste and style. "Styling a cameo Cameo garment is more than just complimenting design. You are creating an overall look which reflects your mood or evokes the persona you want to project for that day. Cameo ambassadors can be found in thousands across the globe, but no two are the same."

Available from Australian retailer Fashion Bunker who will ship globally for orders over $250 (£140).

Cameo's Tumblr and Instagram makes you want to book a flight to Australia NOW and beg to hang out with Head Designer/Brand Manager Kathryn Forth (right) and Design Assistant Siham Elmawey.

Right I'm off to try and get funding for my London shop to sell Cameo! x

REESE / Lust List

Now there are not many brands that I can say I like everything they have made, but REESE is one of those rare fashion labels that I can say I LOVE!
Talented and very stunning Toronto trendsetter Sherise Cromwell launched REESE in 2013. Sherise's aim was to create an affordable lifestyle brand featuring swimwear, jewellery, eyewear and clothing, and she certainly has done just that.
Think Reese instagram account is amazing, reminding us Brits we need a trip overseas to soak some sun and buy REESE!

What a breath of fresh air to visit a well curated (by Sarah Hewett) exhibition of diverse and beautifully made accessories and jewellery.

Celebrating London Fashion Week Craft Central presented Fashioned featuring 'wearable art' from 25 designer-makers. Great to see one of my favourite jewellery designers there, Grace Hamilton, and lovely to discover designers work I've not yet come across.

Janvier London / Lust List

Soon to conquer the world, Janvier London is a new brand certainly worthy of Lust List status. The lovely Elle Azhdari (born in Shiraz, Iran, raised in Sweden, living in East London) co-founded Janvier London with Michelle Nakash, heir to the Jordache empire and launched their capsule collection in July 2013.

Having worked on branding and events for the likes of Nike, Coca Cola, Range Rover and Absolut Vodka, Elle is a women who knows how to make things look good. From the product itself,  gold plated cages contain beautiful soft leather pouches all made in the UK, to the brand identity and website, Elle has created an iconic brand that pours out style.

It's clear to sight Janvier's influences: 70's Vegas, 80's Rodeo Drive, Miami, Versace, Moschino.....All the good stuff.

Guess what? Janvier are also happy to take commissions. That Versace scarf I never wear, now could be given a new lease of life as a girl about town beautiful bag. I can't wait to see what Janvier are going to make next.
