Holly Fulton / LFW

The Holly Fulton show did not disappoint! A beautiful mix of fuschia pinks, turquoise and aqua bluey greens adorned with VERY sparkly necklaces and oversized bags. I spy with my little eye, Tolula Adeyemi, Colin Mcdowell and Hilary Alexander in the front row.

For further pics and a video of the show look at Catwalk Queen, and London Fashion Week.

Holly Fulton / LFW

This is the show I have been waiting for, Holly Fulton. Since her Royal College of Art collection all eyes have been eagerly anticipating the next collection, which seamlessly fuses print, jewellery and accessories as an integral equally important part of the range, rather than add ons at a later date/designed after the clothing.
Holly describes her style as ''geometric pattern lavished onto simply cut garments; big, luxurious, simple shapes with bold jewellery; bejewelled crystallised dresses and an eclectic mix of modern materials with a high end finish.” Everything I LOVE and identify with.
Count down to 12:00. Who knows my dream swimwear collaboration may happen one day.....

Osman / LFW

OSMAN
Inspiration
The autochrome plates of Albert Kahn's collection of the Balkans
Colours
Black and white, punctuated with jewel reds and moss greens
Lime and fuchsia brocades on a black base
Fabrics
Hand loomed brocades over dyed herringbones
Double bonded techno cottons
Luxurious leathers
Oversized embroideries

I adored the jewellery (in collaboration with Erikson Beamon) and bags (in collaboration with Lemaresca). There is a clear trend of opulence, and leather mixed with clean silhouettes and lines emerging amongst designers for AW12.

On each seat was an A3 size 'The Collective- Spring Summer 2012 Essays and Images'

Moschino Cheap & Chic / LFW

BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Craig Laurence / LFW

Craig Laurence who created the knitwear for Gareth Pugh for the first six seasons, showed his AW12 this Sunday. Wide stripe colour blocks in hues of minky brown and black including sheer metallic knits and occasional sparkling (swarovski) embellishment. As I left my phone at home, I couldn't take any pictures which was particularly annoying. However you can view the collection online at LFW.
I particularly liked the hair styling, but struggled to feel comfortable with the collection and the age/size of the models.

Antipodium / LFW

Next up...Antipodium London-based, Australian made womenswear label. Cigarette pants in olive, off white, black and mustard. Soft leather fitted bomber jackets with neat tailored shoulders, see through PVC bomber jackets, long tailored coats; finished off with electric blue, nude or grey heels. I could definitely see Kate Moss in this 'Rock Chic' look.

Mulberry / LFW

There are tickets and then there are tickets....

Clements Ribeiro / LFW

The Clements Ribeiro show today was perfect. The riot of sapphire blue tartan mixed with traditional style brocade print, fuchsia pink skirt teamed with shiny black leather, red leather gloves and gun metal brocade is enough to make any girl scream with joy. Then out came an amazing loose fitting fuchsia jumpsuit with red underarms accessorised with a wide black leather belt and long black gloves, I had dies and gone to fashion heaven. I love neon pink and coral lips so was very happy to see the hot pink lips 'Rose Muse ' from Bourjois' new ranges, the Colourissimo (out in June). As you can see I was standing and couldn't take any decent photos, take a look at Vogue for the whole collection.

Yayoi Kusama

The Yayoi Kusama show at the Tate Modern is AMAZING!!! Go and see it now....

Antoni and Alison / LFW

First show, first day.... adrenaline pumping, excited. Approx 36 silk dresses all more or less the same shape, but with various digital prints. Thought it would have gone with more of a bang for the the start of LFW. Nice to have for the first show as they are part of the London fashion establishment, but I was hoping for more.
