'Party Season' outfits can be hard to find, but for once I have found the perfect solution. Black, gold, angular, fiercely sexy, Aqua by Aqua offers several party edit options which I wish I could own all. To top it off one of my top 5 favourite jewellery designers Scott Wilson has created an amazing collection for Aqua.

Alice Mary Lynch for Alice Temperley

This is not the first time nor will it be the last that I have written about the extremely talented Alice Mary Lynch. Her stunning work of art dolls have been commissioned by Alice Temperley, using Temperley fabrics to appear in her flagship store, 27 Bruton Street, Mayfair. The launch event was glamorous (in an old money, subtle kind of way) with the new shop becoming the ideal backdrop for elegant tall girls walking around in Temperley creations. It was lovely to see Alice (Lynch) as her London visits from Somerset are all but to short yet met with delight. So proud, and looking forward to hearing where the dolls next journey will take them and Alice.

We Feast

Visiting We Feast on an extremely cold December evening, marked the start of the Christmas season. Held inside the former north London mail centre on Studd Street, Islington, the site soon to be transformed into a development of apartments, and what is being proclaimed to become one of London’s shopping destinations nestled in the heart of vibrant Islington. Amongst our group we polished off chili squid, steak burger, dim sum, thai beef salad, Moro mixed vegi curries (one of the only vegi options) and drank mulled (with port and vodka). The overall experience was a good way to kick off December festivities, however it was extremely cold which ment we couldn't stay too long and the food was slightly expensive for the portion sizes. Whoever the band were they were great. It was good to see pretty meringues, which would be great for wedding favours from Meringue Girls and stunning cakes from Pomp De Franc by Katie Franklin and Lily Vanilli.

LOVE LOVE LOVE her. Super hot, talented, stylish tongue in cheek hip hop star Iggy Azalea rocks. Born (07.06.90) Amethyst Amelia Kelly the Australian singer signed to Grand Hustle Records has already been seen launching Henry Holland's 22 piece eyewear collection. Cant wait to hear and see more of Iggy.

Fellow Kingston Uni graduate Lulu McEvoy's interior brand Lulu & Nat will brighten up any home. Colourful hand embroidery presented elegantly across products ranging from cushions, throws, wall hangings to table wear can be bought online at Lulu & Nat or from stockists such as Liberty, Austique and The Cross.

More Stories

It's always great to see a dear friend doing what they should be doing, working on their own brand. Kat Moore's modern, edgy, adorable kids clothing company More Stories was started after returning to London from living in Sweden for 6 years designing for brands including H&M. Clothing featuring signature prints with a Scandinavian design aesthetic and a good dose of British style come with a story book which inspired the collection. I'm looking forward to hearing more from More Stories....

You Make It / Ladies Who L-EARN

Founded by the phenomenal Asma Shah in response to high and rising levels of youth unemployment You Make It engages young people in creative learning and earning opportunities that builds their social and cultural capital, confidence, skills and knowledge so that they stand a better chance of achieving financial independence. Last year You Make It piloted an entrepreneurial development programme scheme, Ladies Who L-EARN.
This year 20 bright young sparks from Tower Hamlets and Hackney have been awarded a place on this year’s Ladies Who L-EARN programme, which is connecting them to new places, people, experiences and ideas to ensure they realise their voice, value and earning potential in one of the most exciting cities in the world. I'm proud to be a mentor for this inspiring programme, providing support to one lovely young lady. Sharing, learning and looking at obstacles in a new light with my mentee and other mentors in the group is something very special indeed. 

Darkroom x Johnsons of Elgin / Lust List

Always bang on the money, pioneering London home/lifestyle store Darkroom have produced some beautiful lambs wool blankets made by Johnstons of Elgin in Scotland. Definitely on my lust list, would  go perfect with my rug and cushions I made....

Mothers Meeting at Exposure PR

Mothers Meeting 'More Than Just A Mum' private view at Exposure PR was packed full of lovely ladies enjoying cocktails, looking at photos of mums which wouldn't be out of place in iD magazine. Each photo was accompanied by a small but poignant bit of info about each mum, and your very own MM 'motivational' newspaper was printed up to take home. See more pics of the evening at the MM.

More Than Just A Mum features 20 of the UK’s most influential and creative women such as Pippa Vosper, Stylist and Harper’s Bazaar fashion editor. Photos have been taken by Jenny Lewis and Tara Darby.
